Washi tape is a decorative paper tape with origins in Japanese stationery. I create new designs and get them produced directly with factories I work with. I also help other artists put together orders and create templates for them to use as well.Â
Below is a small selection of my designs using unique molds of my own creation and foil details.
I worked with the manufacturer to create a completely custom mold for my washi tape orders that had smaller more proportionate holes for "stamp" style washi tape, I also innovated on top of the stamp concept and introduced variable sized stamps to mimic how stamps come in so many different sizes.Â
Once the template was finalized I also created a production friendly version for artists so they knew where technical limitations laid and had toggle-able preview layers to make the process as smooth as possible when they worked with me.
